Frequently asked questions

Common questions

What is the average timeframe for a packaging development project?

It depends on structural complexity and approval stages. In general, development ranges from 2 to 6 weeks — from the briefing phase to delivery of the approved file for production. Projects with physical prototyping and multiple iterations tend to take longer, and that is positive: each iteration prevents problems in scale production.

What file formats do you accept for review?

For graphic files: PDF/X, AI, CDR, PSD and high-resolution TIFF. For structural files: ArtiosCad (ARD), DXF, dieline PDF. If you do not have any of these formats, you can start with a sketch, dimensions and a description of the product the packaging must contain — we develop the dieline from scratch.

Do you serve clients outside Brazil?

Yes. Structural development and prepress are services that work entirely remotely. We serve clients in Canada, the USA and other international markets with communication in English. Delivery is made in universal digital formats compatible with major international die and printing suppliers.

Is it possible to start a project with just a briefing or initial idea?

Yes. The briefing phase exists exactly for that. With the product dimensions, the sales channel (shelf, e-commerce, gift) and the preferred material, it is already possible to start structural development. The more information available, the better — but an initial conversation is already enough to define the next steps.

Do you also print the packaging you develop?

Yes. inPressão integrates structural development and graphic services in the same workflow. This means the dieline and final artwork are developed together — which eliminates integration errors between structure and printing. For runs larger than our production capacity, we manage the process with partner suppliers.

Next step

The first step is a conversation.

No commitment. No complicated form. Just an honest exchange about what you need and what we can develop together.
